The Company

Quotel (PTY) Ltd is a company that provides a web platform quotation solution to various Call Centres in South Africa. Quotel provides call centres direct access to most Short Term Insurers products and their preferential rates which will enable Call Centres to provide multiple quotes to their prospective clients.

Economic Recession Model

Quotel (PTY) Ltd has done extensive research on the South African Call Centre Industry and found the following findings:

  • Life Insurance products Marketed via Call Centres has huge Lapse rates,
  • Claw back of Upfront Commission on Life Insurance products has negative effects on Call Centre Industry Sustainability.
  • The Current Economic Recession demands a need for savings especially on Car and Home Insurance.
  • This Recession Model would help sustain the Call Centre Industry as Commission earned will be monthly recurring.

The Process

Step 1:

When a quote is requested the platform will provide the Prospective client with various calculated quotations displaying various premiums, requirements and excesses.
Step 2:
Should the quotation / policy be accepted the platform will transfer the quote directly to the requested Insurers Call Centre.

Step 3:
The Insurers call centre will then proceed with all the required Underwriting procedures.
Step 4:
On acceptance of quotation/policy the schedule of Insurance is then immediately sent to the client via email, fax or post.
NB: The call centre will be required to fulfill Step 1 and Step 2.

  • Minimum of 35 Agents is Required
Targets (Team of 35 Agents)
  • 1 Sale per day per Agent.
